Design, implement and support technical solutions in PeopleSoft Interaction Hub for supporting the University s MyU portal system based on input gathered from a variety of sources including business systems analysts, analysis results and industry best practices.
Review system requirements, design, and business processes to ensure alignment with IT and business strategies.
Understand industry practices and department policies and procedures relating to work assignments.
Participate in peer reviews and inspections of requirements documents, functional and technical designs, and code.
Create migration packages and develop scripts for data and configuration to be migrated across instances.
Perform PeopleSoft patch analysis, technical customizations and/or recommendation of removals of modifications.
Explain technical implementations to end-users, business customers, management and other OIT departments, either verbally or in writing.
Perform technical research on defect reports and enhancement requests to determine the true nature of the work required.
Provide support for business and/or systems analysts during requirements definition meetings and creation of functional designs.
Collaborate with functional partners, developers and support to define and understand both functional and technical requirements for PeopleSoft Systems.
Required Qualifications (must be documented on resume):
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and two years of development experience.
Experience designing and developing solutions for PeopleSoft Interaction Hub (such as pagelets, homepages, global search, unified navigation, branding and others)
Experience with Application Tools: Application Engine, PeopleCode, Workflow, Integration Broker, Process Scheduler, PIA, Data Mover, Change Assistant, Security Administration, nVision, Component Interface, Application Designer and Query Manager, PeopleTools Portal Technologies.
Preferred Qualifications (please document on resume, if applicable):
Experience with Intrasee products (such as Tiles, Full Search 2.0, Full Topics)
Working experience and/or training on PeopleTools Fluid framework
