Company: [to be disclosed] Job title: Technical Business Analyst/Product Manager Compensation: $75,000-80,000 Salary Location: New York, NY Job type: Direct-Hire | Full time What youll do day-to-day The analyst will partner with developers to conceptualize solutions that expand and improve human capital systems and will be responsible for understanding business needs, specifying technical requirements, and providing operational support for existing applications. This dynamic position offers a broad view of the proprietary systems and third-party products that make up the firms human capital systems landscape. Ample opportunities will be provided to partner closely with leaders in human capital, business operations, information technology, and our international software development teams.
Who we're looking for We are looking for candidates with a bachelors degree or higher Seeking someone who has obtained 3-7 years of relevant work experience. Ideally this person would have been actively involved in complex software implementations involving multiple stakeholders. Experience designing and implementing data warehouses is a significant plus. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, organizational skills, a dedicated customer service mentality, a knack for rapid problem solving, an aptitude for translating the needs of non-technical systems users into technical requirements, and an ability to see how small details interrelate and impact the bigger picture (i.e. systems thinking) are all critical for this role. Applicants with functional expertise in technical writing, process mapping, process re-engineering, and data modeling will excel in this role. A holistic understanding of the software development life cycle gained from experience running an agile release cycle process (such as experience as a scrum master) is a plus. The willingness and ability to dive into details, collaborate effectively with teammates of varying technical knowledge, drive projects to completion, and exercise extreme discretion with confidential information is also essential.
