Location New York City, NY Description Our client is currently seeking a Technical Writer PORTFOLIO strongly recommended, (Link or Attachment) GAR is the system used by all product teams to assess the level of technical accessibility of their products. The system is based on external standards and used to evaluate if all users, including those with disabilities, can use our products, as well as meeting compliance and regulation. Overall Responsibilities Update internal guidelines and standards for accessibility Migrate content to company docs Top 3 Daily Responsibilities Review the content changes for the new update Includes checking grammar, links, and concise message, as well as identifying any content that should be updated to maintain consistency Writing new content includes describing user impact for each guideline, instructions on how to test, design and develop (in partnership with Googler domain experts) Implement improvements on formatting Includes consistent headings and lists, as well as visual organization Required Skills Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Technical Writing, UX, HCI or equivalent practical experience.
