Visit our website for more details about Oliver Wyman: ******************* Job Overview: The Chief of Staff to the CIO is responsible for supporting the CIO in the smooth running of ITS and the development of key initiatives to enhance ITS and how it supports the business. The position requires working closely with senior leadership across the region and globally to oversee day-to-day matters, troubleshoot issues, proactively identify new opportunities, and drive initiatives through to completion, in collaboration with key stakeholders across the firm. The Communications & Engagement aspect of this role encompasses strategy, design and management of initiatives aimed to improve awareness, embeddedness and development of ITS, both within ITS and across the organization to the end users (OWG colleagues). The role requires deep knowledge of OW consulting business and the ability to ideate and run relevant initiatives for different goals and target audiences. The role incorporates a broad set of skills, including strategic vision and planning, multiple-project management, change management and communication skills, and lots of creativity to think and deliver out of the box. This role is expected to be split time between Chief of Staff and leading ITS Comms & Engagement. The role is part of the ITS Management team and requires strong collaboration within ITS as well as with other functions such as L & D, HC, and Internal Communications, and with other key business stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: - Partner with the CIO on the day-to-day management of ITS operations providing leverage to enable the CIO to focus more time with ITS clients as well as ITS and OWG strategic priorities - Manage key Office of the CIO initiatives and projects for ITS and keep the group focused on key activities and milestones necessary to meet objectives - Work with other ITS management team members and ITS senior staff to develop and enforce key processes, policies and procedures - Act as a point of contact within ITS and be the liaison for requests from the firm, of ITS services, when there is no clear sub-function ownership - Manage, develop and drive the performance of one major functional part of the ITS Communications & Engagement and its collaborators. Within that: - Define and develop ITS Communications & Engagement strategy in alignment with (and/or influence to) overall ITS strategy - Ideate and plan specific programs and initiatives for relevant topics/goals - Define deliverables, supervise the execution of the ITS Communications & Engagement and track results - Manage recurring governance meetings, including: Technology Strategy Committee Meetings, Consulting Technology Advisory Group Meetings, etc. - Oversee select activities of ITS local managers and provide feedback to the CIO - Propose, liaise and collaborate with other SP departments with common interests and synergies- mainly L & D, HC and Internal Communications - Provide SME counsel to technology training modules to ensure training is relevant and well received - Enhance ITS recruiting lifecycle process - with relevant regional HC colleagues and hiring managers - Support integration efforts for new joiners at all levels (internal and external) - Produce ad hoc analyses related to employee retention and attrition - Support Inclusion & Diversity efforts within ITS - Hold effective working relationships within the broader ITS and OWG organization - Other responsibilities may be includedExperience Required: - 4 years of experience in professional services; experience at a leading management consulting firm highly desirable - Management of multiple projects - Experience managing teams - Coordination of cross-functional teams and/or people's network - Experience dealing with confidential and business critical issues - Experience interacting at the Partner level at a leading management consulting firm plus experience in senior support roles highly desirable - Advanced Excel and PowerPoint capabilities, also valued any other knowledge of applicable tools/platformsSkills and Attributes: - Strategic vision - Planning, organization and multi-tasking - Focus on output, and ability to work under pressure and deadlines - Excellent Communication skills, storyline for slides, notes or video scripts - Change management skills - Ability to work vertically and horizontally in a flexible manner - Experience dealing with confidential and business critical issues - Willingness to respond to ad-hoc requests and projects - Creativity, out-of-the box thinking and applied to design of deliverables - Diversity as a strength, able to work across cultures and groups - English fluency required.
