Client Delivery Consultant - Intellect Product Suite
Deloitte Consulting's Products & Solutions (P&S) practice develops products that augment our leading services practice and strike at the heart of our clients' business needs.
As a Client Delivery Consultant, you will be aligned to the Client Delivery team of ConvergeHEALTH's Intellect product suite, a solution within the Products & Solutions practice. The Intellect product suite, inclusive of Revenue Intellect and Care Intellect, is a set of subscription-based hosted analytics solutions specifically focused on helping our clients maximize financial margin through revenue cycle optimization and clinical variation management.
Work you'll do
Client facilitation - working with clients to communicate data needs, ensure their understanding (from both a business and technology standpoint) of the Intellect data request, and act as a primary point of contact during the implementation process
Delivery management - planning, tracking, and reporting implementation progress using structured tools and methodologies
Data validation/profiling - reviewing client data to ensure validity and completeness, and working with clients to revise as necessary; identifying, investigating, and resolving issues and irregularities in data through both implementation and testing phases of a project
Client training - conducting on-site Revenue and Care Intellect training of client end users following application go-live, as well as subsequent version release trainings
Client relationship development - establishing relationships with key client end users to help drive further adoption of the application throughout and at all levels of their organization
Insight development - using revenue cycle and general healthcare subject matter knowledge to help clients draw insights from their data and turn data into actionable change
Product development input - liaising with our product development team to communicate potential application enhancements for future releases that have been identified through conversations with both internal and external clients
As part of the Client Delivery team, you will be working with subscription clients (health care provider systems) and Deloitte project teams to implement Intellect solutions at client organizations. You will help clients ramp up on the solution through on-site and virtual trainings, deliver managed analytics/ operational insights to client organizations, and promote the continued adoption of Revenue and Care Intellect. You will straddle the fence between business and technology, using analytical expertise and healthcare domain knowledge to solve real world healthcare business problems.
A BA/BS degree from a top institution in information systems/informatics, health care administration, or other relevant focus areas
2-4 years' experience in health care management consulting, health care technology startups, or other health care provider-related fields (e.g. revenue cycle management, health care finance, clinical operations)
Experience with coordinating internal and external stakeholders during the planning, management and delivery of technology projects
A strong ability to understand, profile, and validate large data sets, as well as concisely communicate and document the outcomes from these activities
Excellent problem identification, analysis and solving skills, and the ability to summarize the \"so what?\" within data
The ability to develop and foster strong working relationships with internal and external clients in a virtual setting
Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including Microsoft PowerPoint
Strong self and audience awareness when interacting with internal and external stakeholders
A willingness to travel up to 20%
A master's degree in business administration, healthcare administration, health informatics, information systems, or a related field
Working knowledge/familiarity and interest in relational database management systems, SQL, business intelligence platforms (e.g. Qlik, Tableau), or other advanced analytical tools
Familiarity with healthcare data (e.g., EDI, bills, claims), healthcare revenue cycle concepts, and a general interest in the healthcare industry
Account management experience in a startup or subscription-based environment
