Charlotte, North CarolinaApply NowJob ID 1133838Category Health Insurance OperationsOrganization Carolina Complete HealthSchedule Full-time Description:Position Purpose: Oversee and manage health plan security capabilities, defining goals and accountabilities, as required to meet current and emerging business needs. Oversee health plan security capabilities levering key resources to include people, processes and technologies. Coordinate with Corporate Security Leadership in delivering day to day security capabilities at the health plan level. Develop budgets and priorities, ensuring plans and resource allocations are consistent with those budgets and priorities. Work with Global Security team to determine the organizations long-term systems and/or hardware needs to accomplish the organizations business objectives. Analyze the needs of departments and establish priorities for feasibility studies, systems design, and implementation to develop new and/or modify the health plans information processing systems in alignment with corporate policies and procedures. Responsible for the security plans and activities of the health plan, coordinating with senior leaders inside and outside health plan, as well as strategic suppliers. Apply process and business expertise to impact business results. Responsible for maintaining regulatory compliance for all associated security controls. Member of the Global Security Risk team, responsible for developing and implementing security solutions that manage risk effectively for the health plan. Qualifications:Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, related field or equivalent experience. 10+ years of IT, Information Security, or risk experience. License/Certifications: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and one of the following additional certifications: Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC) Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Charlotte, North Carolina Centene is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity, and values the ways in which we are different.
