As a Desktop Support Technician, you will be helping to assist in deployment of brand new monitors for our clients end user service base. Monitors will be need to be unboxed, set up and configured, and trash hauled away. This will be a 2 week project with all days mandatory.
You'll be required to have prior experience deploying peripheral equipment, reliable transportation to and from our clients site in Cary, NC and be able and willing to pass a background check and drug screen.
Setup hardware devices including monitors and cabling as needing
Perform basic troubleshooting of devices as needed.
Assist in unboxing and disposal of trash for all new devices.
1+ years of IT Desktop, Field Service or hands on support experience within a Windows environment.
Successful track record providing outstanding customer service and problem resolution for end-users experiencing hardware and software issues.
Experience with PC refreshes, deploying new IT equipment, creating images, installing software packages, maintaining computer networks, and migrating network printers.
Must be able to pass a background screen and drug test.
Must be able to lift up to 25+ pounds.
