The Director of Information Technology is directly responsible for the development of a strategic IT roadmap and the execution of IT objectives within the company to achieve company-wide performance goals. The Director of Information Technology will also direct responsibility for leading and developing the IT organization which includes IT infrastructure, application & system administration, security, general IT operations and help desk support functions.. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:. Design, develop and implement an overall IT strategy for A.A. Anderson & Co., Inc. to optimize business operations. Select/develop and implement software applications to support business requirements. Institute IT standards to ensure a compliant and secure IT environment. Create a data governance approach for reliable and consistent reporting. Oversee the strategic relationship between IT and other functions within the organization. Implement key systems integrations to optimize business efficiency. Manage IT vendor relationships and negotiate vendor agreements. Gather and synthesize business requirements from leadership for strategic IT investments. Optimize daily IT operations and implement cost control measures. Establish an efficient team structure and measure performance using analytics, processes and tools. Manage all strategic IT implementation projects; ensure budgets comply with company goals, guidelines and objectives. Lead and develop employees within the IT department. Communicate with company leadership regarding the IT roadmap and associated return on investment. Others duties as assigned. Education/Skills/Experience:. Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Management or similar technical field; Master's preferred. Minimum of ten years of experience within IT, with a track record of progressively responsible roles. Experience with project management of IT-related implementations. Prior experience as an effective senior manager. Proven results with system integration. Ability to synthesize requirements from individual brands into a cohesive corporate IT strategy. Highly motivated, team player with a track record of technical leadership and technical collaboration. Thorough understanding of organizational behavior, workforce planning, metrics and analysis. Depth of knowledge regarding technology tools available in the marketplace to drive more efficient business processes. Strong communication and leadership skills. Exemplary critical thinking skills; strong attention to detail; ability to adhere to quality standards. Financial management and budgeting experience. Ability to make decisions based on data and statistics. Experience in managing the needs of a geographically dispersed company preferred. Physical Requirements:.
