The increasing demand for our solutions and rapid company growth have created an opportunity for an experienced sales professional to join our sales team focused on new client acquisition.


This position is responsible for leading the marketing and sales efforts to meet strategic business goals.


Company: an IT services company with primarily hedge fund clients. Very strong history of organic company growth. Market territory will be the NY metropolitan area.


Primary duties include:


Product strategy
Collaborating with the senior leadership team to develop the product strategy, product portfolio, and product pricing models for each individual market and to increase profits
Conducting research to understand the sales initiatives and product offerings of competitors


Marketing
Creating the marketing plan for the various products and services of the company
Define the visibility strategy, develop, and nurture relationships


Sales
Scheduling and conducting sales presentations and proposals at prospective and current customers
Coordinating the development of contracts to support sales proposals
Negotiating with customers to close new business
Managing the sales pipeline and sales forecast


Management
Recruiting sales professionals to build a high performance sales organization
Developing a compensation structure for sales executives (base plus incentives)
Preparing the budget for the sales & marketing organization


Analytics
Establishing KPIs to monitor the effectiveness of the sales strategy and the sales organization
Collaborate with the finance department to track various gross profits


Required experience:
Extensive experience selling technology solutions to financial services companies (money managers, investment banks, hedge funds)
Successful track record in a senior sales capacity (selling to demanding customers, increasing sales, building a team, having visibility and credibility in the local market)
Understanding of IT solutions (infrastructure, hardware, software, cloud, licensing)
Experience selling to CTOs and CIOs in financial services companies.


Compensation: This is a full-time employee position with base salary, bonus, and full benefits.
