Responsibilities

The Vice President of Information Technology is responsible for the strategic and operational management of the organization's information and technology needs. The Vice President of Information Technology utilizes knowledge of the healthcare environment to create and lead technology goals that support the overall strategy of Open Sky. The position holds responsibilities for shared business service strategy and operations, enabling cross-functional synergies, managing outsourcing relationships, ensuring a secure and scalable IT infrastructure, establishing and maintaining a data management approach to support reporting and analytics, identifying and coordinating anticipated technology/product changes, and engaging with Open Sky leadership to understand, anticipate and provide options analysis for supporting changing business needs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or certifications in IT related field and professional experience in the development and implementation of information systems for non-profit healthcare organizations. Working knowledge of computers, networking and databases required. Minimum 10 years of leadership experience in healthcare information technology. Working knowledge of service architecture development, business application and infrastructure, cloud computing, including Software as a Service, Infrastructure as a Service, Platform as a Service, and quality standards formation. Experience formulating and allocating budgets. Experience with the implementation of electronic health records systems. Experience with the implementation of security standards that meet and exceed HIPAA rules and regulations.
