The Leidos Defense Group has a career opportunity for a Cyber Security Architect located at Fort Meade, MD and or Scott Air Force Base, IL
As a valued member of the Cyber Security Service Provider (CSSP) Team, you will be supporting the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) GSM-O II program in support of DISA Task Number 09 (TN09). Your primary job function as the Architect is to perform network architecture reviews, provide recommendations on network security strategy and network instrumentation, provide expertise on security data identification and acquisition, and assist in developing cyber solutions. *Work schedule is hybrid (60% remote, 40% on-site), and travel is limited to 10%.

The Challenge:
Perform as technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) to the DISA Cyber Security Service Provider (CSSP) Program Management Office (PMO) as Cyber Security Architect and Security System Integrator.
Identify security-relevant data and tools in both traditional and cloud mission areas and develop solutions for evolving capabilities, making formal recommendations to agency stakeholders.
Research and Develop Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO) security strategies across multiple Areas of Responsibility (AOR).
Conduct network security architecture reviews, and develop security solutions for Mission Partners aligning to DISA CSSP offerings.
Perform periodic Mission Partner reviews to assess and verify the effective instantiation of traditional security appliances and Cloud Native Technologies.
Conduct and deliver weekly and monthly status updates to government representatives.
Develop Infrastructure as Code for automation of Mission Partner Integration with DISA CSSP Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO) platforms.
Implement, and sustain multi-cloud Test & Integration environments to evaluate security capabilities, and assist defenders in performing cyber threat emulations and development of detections.
What Sets You Apart:
Bachelor’s Degree with 12+ years of applicable experience, additional years may be used in lieu of a degree.
8570 IASAE II certification (CASP+ CE, CISSP (or Associate), CSSLP).
Must have a current DoD Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI.
Experience with developing cloud security strategies.
Experience with FedRAMP and NIST 800-53 control mapping.
Experience with MITRE ATT&CK.
Motivated self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills.
You Might Also Have:
Experience with DoD and DISA Networks.
Experience with DevSecOps, and source code management and distribution through Git.
Experience with IaC tools AWS CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager (ARM), Terraform.
Clearance Required:
Active Secret clearance
