THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE

As the Information Security Technology - Engineering - Director, you will oversee the identification, analysis, implementation, and operation of cybersecurity tools and processes for data protection. You will lead a high functioning team to deliver innovative technical solutions that meet diverse and complex stakeholder requirements. To excel in this role, you must have excellent leadership skills; a demonstrated track record executing enterprise technical initiatives; and knowledge of privacy, legal, and security subjects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate the needs of diverse and complex technical, legal, and privacy customer groups.
  • Resolve complex and emerging business and technology issues and tradeoffs.
  • Plan and direct the work of the team as they design and develop technical solutions.
  • Direct the effective and efficient long-term maintenance of existing technical solutions.

Qualifications

THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

Minimum Required Experiences

  • 8 years

Desired Experiences

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent; Master degree preferred
  • CISSP or Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM), Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP)

Required Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience delivering large, complex technical projects.
  • Experience handling complex privacy, data protection and security legal and policy issues.
  • Familiarity with data security tools and technologies including data scanning, data classification, database activity monitoring, encryption, and tokenization.
  • Experience with securing data across IaaS and SaaS cloud platforms, especially AWS.
  • Familiarity with storage and database technologies such as Amazon S3, Amazon RDS, MySQL, Oracle, and SQL Server.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Additional Skills

  • Understanding of encryption protocols, firewalls, and other security technologies.
  • Experience with agile software development and delivery.
  • Experience in designing, developing, and implementing cloud-based solutions.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based architectures, such as microservices and serverless computing.
  • Experience with risk analysis and risk assessment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
