JOB SUMMARY: The Senior Manager, IT Security Operations will provide vision and leadership globally for IT Security Operations in support of Universal Parks and Resorts (UPR). The role will work closely with NBCU Cyber and partner organizations at NBCU and across UPR to enable and support Identity and Access Management (IAM), Directory Services, Edge Platforms, Endpoint Protection, technical controls for policy enforcement, and incident response and forensics analysis support. Additionally, this role will directly support the development and implementation of UPR Security and Governance strategy and long-range planning (LRP) in support of business objectives and in alignment with NBCUniversal, and Comcast policies and LRPs.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design, implement, evaluate, and evolve the processes, procedures, and service level agreements (SLA) required to optimally deliver Security Operation services to UPR. This includes all relevant service ticket queues and workflows, and staffing and on-call scheduling,
  • Contribute as a member of the Security and Governance Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to incident response and investigations; global strategy development and implementation; and policy development, audit, and compliance.
  • Solve complex technical and integration issues with creative and secure solutions.
  • Identify and communicate key risks and security posture to senior leadership; build effective relationships across UPR business units; mentor junior security engineers and architects; build and contribute to communities of excellence as appropriate.
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Technology, or related technical field required.
  • Master’s degree preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 9+ Years of demonstrated experience working in a technical area as part of a large team (Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, DevSecOps, Infrastructure, Networking, Cyber Security, Architecture, etc.).
  • Experience in large-scale networks, routing protocols, network security components, and identity and access management architectures.
  • Experience producing high quality technical documentation.
  • Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) experience is preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience working with data security and privacy, legal, and regulatory frameworks preferred.
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

  • CISSP – Certified Information Systems Security Professional (Preferred)
  • PMP – Project Management Professional (Preferred)
