Job Description

As a senior information security analyst, you'll be a part of a team that designs, implements, maintains, and supports security at an enterprise-wide level. In this role, you'll focus on risk management by performing assessments of applications/systems and ensuring security requirements are implemented and constantly improved upon. As a member of the Information Security Department, youll be working with a group that takes a proactive approach to information security, you'll have the advantage of influencing the architectural direction of enterprise-wide security technology. In addition, youll work directly with project teams and business partners to establish general security controls that will adequately protect and secure Progressive information systems. Furthermore, youll analyze, implement, and support information security systems and recommend security controls to protect information against unauthorized modification or loss. Moreover, youll identify and articulate security and business risk to both technical and non-technical audiences to ensure that risk is being accepted at the correct business level. This is a remote position.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher and a minimum of five years related work experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, High School Diploma/GED Equivalent or higher and a minimum of nine years related work experience.
  • An advanced related degree may be substituted for one year of relevant work experience.

Preferred Skills

  • Develop and implement solutions to complex or ambiguous information security issues
  • Provide security requirement oversight and direction for enterprise-wide technology
  • Ensure high-level integration of projects with information security policies and strategies
  • Develops information security requirements in context of business needs, which includes working with internal business customers to create appropriate controls around access, data integrity and confidentiality, and security compliance
  • Identify, evaluate, conduct, schedule and lead technical analysis functions to ensure all applicable information security requirements are met


  • $98,910-$120,890/year
