Role Summary/Purpose:

Information Security - Metrics Program Leader will lead the Infosec Metrics function to implement Information Security Metrics Program. Our Metrics Program would enables operational teams, leadership and the board better visibility on Information Security measurements and risks thus driving better decision making and early warning. This role will lead and oversee the metrics team. The core responsibilities of the role include management and mentoring of the individual IS metrics team members, maturing of the supporting metrics across IS  and establishing collaboration and efficiencies across the Technology Risk Management (TRM) function, Information Security (IS) and Information Technology (IT) teams.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Lead a global metrics team

  • Develop and implement Strategy for the metrics function

  • Support the InfoSec business and all its internal functions to drive operational process excellence by improving their metrics.

  • Ensure Cybersecurity posture is accurately measured and reported to Senior leadership on a periodic basis

  • Work with process owners, key stakeholders, and other team members to ensure metrics and their associated process improvement plans are identified, measured consistently, and reported accurately

  • Proactively identify automation opportunities to simplify the metrics gathering and reporting process

  • Perform BAU metrics reporting and data analysis functions as per the standard processes

  • Identify and prioritize operational process excellence plans and collaborate with other teams for successful execution in a timely manner to ensure service delivery is optimal

  • Ability to perform data structuring, analyzing and visualizing data to report on all reasonable metrics, which helps improve the functioning of IS organization and its associated internal functions by collaborating with IS and IT functions

  • Collaborate with Key IS stakeholders to perform metrics assessments and recommend improvements

  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree and a minimum 6 years of information technology experience or, in lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree, a High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of 8 years of information technology experience preferred

  • Experience with business intelligence and reporting tools like QlikView, Tableau, Power BI etc.

  • Experience with Microsoft O356 tools i.e. SharePoint, Nintex, Power Apps, Power Automate to drive automation

  • Knowledge of metrics process improvement

  • Ability to identify and recommend key KPI, KRI by working with Metrics owners and drive implementation

  • Ability to develop business/technical documentation associated with IS organization. Using various data analysis, quality and project management methodologies and models.

  • Sound communication skills: Able to clearly present information through the spoken or written work; reads and interprets complex information; conveys information effectively; listens well.

  • Able to communicate complex business and technical concepts to stakeholders in an easy-to-understand manner

  • Sound business and technological skills: Able to quickly learn and understand technical aspects of the position; embraces technology; appreciates and understands a moderate level of complexity, technology, and innovation.

  • Ability to interpret and apply laws, regulations, policies, and guidance relevant to organization cyber objectives

  • Significant experience in financial services metrics function preferred

Eligibility Requirements:

  • You must be 18 years or older

  • You must have a high school diploma or equivalent

  • You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process

  • You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.

  • New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles.  Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles.  Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 24 months’ time in position before they can post.  All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations).

The salary range for this position is 85,000.00 – 170,000 USD Annual

Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA and Metro NY and some positions are bonus eligible.

Grade/Level: 11
