Cyber Security Specialist

Position Description
Assists in researching and evaluating technologies and organizing information necessary for the development and implementation of enterprise projects. Supports DMA-wide security compliance program. Records and maintains security compliance program data for central and remote sites using VMS, IAVM, eMASS, and RMF standards and procedures. Coordinates and manages the security readiness and review process to verify VMS and IAVA compliancy as required for enterprise annual network certification and accreditation. Manages the functions of the Computer Network Defense Program. Performs the duties of Information Assurance Officer. Responsible for receiving and processing SIPRNET messages using SIPRNET hardware and software.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• 5-8 years in related role.
• DODD 8570 Certifications for IAM II.
• Experience in communicating technical situations to a non-technical audience.
• Experience in communicating status to management and ranking personnel.
• Basic Splunk knowledge.
• Basic eMASS knowledge.
• Strong knowledge of RMF.
• Able to draft policies and support documents for Authority To Operate accreditation.
