Location: Must be available to come in to our Mundelein, IL office 1 or more times a month (in-person).

An IT Security Analyst at Medline will perform a wide variety of security duties with a primary focus on monitoring for security compromises, remediated security issues, and maintaining/advancing security related applications/processes.
Examples of possible duties include:

  • Monitor and evaluate SIEM and other applications for compromise indicators
  • Analyze indicators and triage events
  • Perform 1st level Malware/Breach/Compromise Analysis and remediation
  • Create and/or update security operations procedure/process documentation
  • Create and/or update security technical and architectural documentation

  • Junior standing with a minimum 3.0 GPA preferred
  • Background in Computer Science or related.
  • Knowledge of Enterprise SIEM tools, antivirus/EDP products
  • Knowledge of Network Security controls such as IDS/IPS, Firewalls, TCP/IP etc.
  • Knowledge of Windows PC operating systems, server OS, and active directory
